Seaforth

Seaforth, OntarioSeaforth is one of the oldest designated Historic Conservation Districts in Ontario.

Take a walking tour through the community and down Main Street with its well preserved 19th century architecture and heritage properties. Seaforth's imposing commercial blocks harkens to an era when this was a lively business centre. With careful preservation there are shops that fill the sidewalk level. We encourage you to "look up" in Seaforth to admire the carefully constructed upper stories that only give a hint of interesting activities behind those decorated windows.

The Seaforth Golf Club, a mature and challenging golf course is home to the Seaforth Country Classic.

Egmondville's historic Van Egmond House Museum is another stop along the way to and from Brentwood Cottages. Here you'll find the history of the Van Egmond family and their influence on the settling of our share of the Huron Tract.
